Whenever a job vacancy arises at Granta Books we will post details on this page.  In additon, we usually advertise in the Bookseller and occasionally in the Guardian.  Unfortunately, due to the high number of enquiries we receive, we cannot respond to speculative applications.

Current vacancies at Granta Books:

Sales and Publishing Assistant
We are looking for a Sales and Publishing Assistant. This is an ideal opportunity for somebody looking for a first job in publishing, who wants to work with a young, ambitious, dynamic team, and be exposed to as broad a range of publishing practices as possible. The successful candidate will possess excellent organisation and administrative skills, and be a clear and confident communicator with initiative.

Marketing Manager
We are now recruiting a Marketing Manager to work across our books, the magazine and our digital platforms. The ideal candidate will be an ambitious, organized, confident and distinctive thinker with first-class marketing experience, a passion for literature, and a passion for getting that literature into readers’ hands.

We offer internships for graduates interested in a career in publishing. We’re looking for enthusiastic, hardworking candidates who have a genuine passion for great writing.

From sales and marketing to publicity and editorial, our internships are fast-paced and varied, offering a crucial behind-the-scenes look at the world of publishing.

Placements last four weeks and are unpaid, although we offer a fixed payment of £75 a week to cover expenses.
