Iain joined Granta Books in March 2009 having previously worked at HarperCollins where he ran the marketing teams for the literary Press Books division including 4th Estate, and most recently the Harper Non Fiction division. He started his career at Pan Macmillan, working principally with the Picador Books imprint. Over the years he has worked on the launches of a wide range of books including The Corrections by Jonathan Franzen, A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius by Dave Eggers, Bad Blood by Lorna Sage, Stuart: A Life Backwards by Alexander Masters and Nigel Slater’s The Kitchen Diaries along with a wide range of bestselling celebrity biography and other commercial non-fiction.
